Kizzy is our spitfire, but is also the biggest kisser in the family. She came to us during the 1994 Louisville, KY specialty weekend, and has been running our life ever since. She rules over the house with just a glance, or a lifted eyebrow, but has the most delightful sense of humor and loves a good romp with all the other dogs. She enjoyed a very rewarding show career by winning Best of Winners, an Award of Merit (normally awarded to outstanding champions, she was the first kuvasz to win one from the classes), and her championship all at the 1995 Kuvasz Club of America National Specialty in Burbank California. She also won Best of Winners and Best of Opposite Sex at the 20th Anniversary Specialty of the Kuvasz Club of Canada, making her the only kuvasz in history to ever win awards at two North American Specialties, much less in one year! Guy Beesley (Thunderbell Kennels) handled her to the Canadian win. She is now having a successful second career as Couch Princess, and as a mother to Sonia and 1998 KCA Specialty Best of Winners, Tanya. Kizzy is now featured on the 2001 Kuvasz Club of America of America's 2001 Calendar.
